What we collect, why, and who helps us process it. Quiet Marks is run by Dark Thirty Labs LLC, in California. We collect what we need to draw your logo and run your project, and nothing is sold.

What we collect

  • What you tell us: your company name or website, your answers in the quiz and brief, notes and feedback, and your decision-maker's name and email.
  • Your website's public pages: when you give us a web address, we read its public text and any logo on it, to fill in the quiz and brief for you.
  • Your account: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
  • Your project: your sketches, choices, orders and payments (handled by our payment provider; we never see your card number).
  • How the site is used: pages visited, clicks, and recordings of sessions on the site, so we can see where it's confusing. What you type in form fields is masked in recordings.

Why

  • To draw your sketches, run your project and deliver your brand book.
  • To email you about your project: when sketches are ready, when your mark is, and similar. A few follow-ups after delivery, which you can opt out of.
  • To fix and improve the site.

Who processes it for us

  • Anthropic runs the AI models that read your answers and website text and help draw your sketches. They don't train their models on this data.
  • Resend sends our emails.
  • PostHog provides analytics and session recordings.
  • Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Railway hosts the site and stores project data, in the United States.

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

Cookies

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and PostHog uses cookies and local storage to count visits and record sessions. No advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Project records are kept as long as you have a project with us and for our business records after that. Sketches made from your name or initials are never reused. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, except what we must keep by law, such as payment records.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop follow-up emails. Write to hello@quietmarks.com and we'll answer within a few days.

Children

Quiet Marks is for businesses. It isn't meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page, and we'll email you if the change affects a project you have with us.
