Who draws your logo

Every Quiet Marks logo is drawn by Viktor Engborg. He has spent twenty years designing for founders, often as the first designer in the room: at FitStar, Zero and Topology, and later leading design at Levels, Mindbloom and Function Health. Along the way he drew the marks for companies he worked with and for his own, like House Of, a family of design-led vacation homes. Quiet Marks is made by Dark Thirty Labs, his studio in California, where he also builds his own products.

Why it works this way

Most new companies need a real mark before they can afford an agency, and an instant logo looks like everyone else's. So we split the work. Our sketch engine draws real geometry for your company and lets you explore, like and combine in about an hour, on your own time. Then a designer does the part that needs an eye: your logo is drawn by hand on an exact grid, every curve set until it looks right, within 2 working days.

No calls, fixed prices, paid upfront. A small number of marks a week, so each one gets the time it needs.

What we believe

• Black first. If a mark doesn't work in one color, color won't save it.
• Geometry gets it close; the eye gets it right.
• Timeless over current. Nothing that dates to a trend.
• Fewer things, done well: marks and the system around them, not mascots or illustration.
